INCH ME IN

The walls of the room are blue.

There’s nothing more comforting than blue.

Death’s sweetness is blue and I am drawn to you.

I will…Inch me in.

I will lower me down.

I’ll float I’ll swim.

I will fail I’ll drown.

The deeper you go the darker the blue.

The longer you stay there the less is left of you.

The more you adapt the more you stand to lose.

And you do stand to lose.

I am drawnto you.

There’s a question after every word I say

and I probably didn’t mean it anyway.

I will choke on what falls out of my mouth

and I guess that’s what you get.

That’s just what you get.
